Noting:
Code of conductThe mission and primary purpose of Pu Pu 'O Hawai’i Outrigger is to preserve and promote a unique quality of life, referred to by the Hawaiian/Polynesian Community as "the spirit of aloha." Aloha is a concept in Hawaiian and Polynesian tradition that involves selflessly sharing love and affection toward other people, animals, and things, and in doing so creating a sacred “mana” (a spirit or life force). This requires showing respect to others without discriminating on any basis. While our mission is to preserve and promote the spirit of aloha, showing respect is the method we use to accomplish that mission, and it forms the foundation of our Code of Conduct.** The Code of Conduct consists of two guiding principles: (1) Respect Our Canoes; and (2) Respect Our Team: Read Full Text! | New PaddlersWe welcome folks interested in trying us out, the first 3 practices are on us!
